LLMs are really good at some things, like coding, but they are not so good in chemical tasks. Can we make them better?
Chemists have designed great tools over the years, and here we show that giving these tools to LLMs improves their performance in a range of chemistry tasks.

LLMs can even perform automatic chemical synthesis of organic substances, from simple prompts like "Synthesize an insect repellent".
